About the book...
A Jewish orphaned girl was in a region we know now as Iran where a woman's place was and still primarily is one of lowly position. But that girl – with the help of a godly adopted father – became a woman who didn't know “her place" as defined by the world and instead rose to her real place – the place for which God had created her.
This commentary is written through the eyes of a woman who has been involved in government for almost 20 years and who has had to challenge "her place" as well. These years of experience give her a unique perspective with insights into the dynamics surrounding world leaders as well as the unfailing protection of God.
About the Author...
Caroline DeBerry is the founder and CEO of Tenagrity® Solutions. Caroline has been involved in government, policy, and public service for about 20 years - having been a VP, chief officer, senior congressional staffer, federal appointee, small business owner, and published author.
Caroline served a US Congressman as well as the campaigns of leaders who later became Cabinet Secretaries. She has also worked with White House officials and many other state and federal government and industry leaders. Caroline was a senior campaign finance analyst for the Federal Election Commission, receiving multiple awards for her work, and later founded her own FEC consulting firm. She also was a chief officer for an international nonprofit that provides free health clinics.
Caroline has worked on several important pieces of legislation. In addition to writing her book, The Renewal of Independence, published in 2010, Caroline has ghostwritten law books and other works, and she self-published and illustrated a children’s book, The Reflect: The Beginning.
Most recently, Caroline was honored to be inducted into Marquis Who's Who in America 2024-2025. She was also featured in The Wall Street Journal, included in the Who’s Who of Distinguished Leaders: 2024 Honorees. Caroline was also selected as one of the Top 50 Fearless Leaders 2025 and Top Founder & CEO of the Year 2024 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for her outstanding leadership, dedication and commitment to the industry.
